If you are interested in starting to drive before you are 17, I am insured to take 15+ year olds off-road. In and around Taunton, Wellington, Bridgwater, including outlying villages and areas in between, there are limited venues where you can do this (Westonzoyland and Smeatharpe being the only local ones).

Once you have your provisional licence, decide how you want to learn, i.e. intensive/ semi intensive/ weekly lessons, contact me, Keith Mansfield and let me know your requirements. I will then send you some information (either by email or post). Some people prefer to do an intensive course while others prefer to learn things more slowly. When trying to make your decision think about the ways you would revise for a school exam; did you revise something little and often or did you cram the night before (if you did, were you successful)?! Think about which would get you the best result........

The course you want to do will determine what information I give you about the theory and practical tests and when to book it for. There is often quite a wait for the driving test, so thinking ahead is important, especially if you have a deadline to work to.

Because of the waiting list, it usually pays to use the waiting time for lessons. Only choose intensive if this is the way you learn best, or you have time constraints at work/college.
